What is Bedrock?
An iPhone app for one habit: making your bed. Every morning you take a photo of the made bed inside the app. The check passes or fails. A pass extends the streak. That is the whole product.
Does it have an alarm?
No. Bedrock never rings. It sends one reminder a day at the time you usually make your bed, and nothing else. If you need an alarm to get up, this is not that app.
What happens if the check fails?
You see "Not yet. Fix it and scan again." Fix the bed and scan again. Each attempt stops after 7 seconds. If it fails twice you can submit anyway, the check completes later, and the streak holds for now. A day counts only when a scan passes.
How does the reminder pick its time?
It starts from the wake time you give in onboarding. After that it moves to 30 minutes after the median of your last 7 passing scans, so it lands just after the time you actually make the bed. Never earlier than 6:00 AM. A passing scan cancels that day's reminder. You can set your own time in Settings, and your override stays until you clear it.
How do Friends work without an account?
There is no sign-up. The app keeps a random device identifier and the first name you choose. You get a 6-character code, shown as ABC-DEF, and an invite link. Friends see your first name and current streak, nothing else. Delete my data in Settings removes your name, your code and your streak from our server.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Bedrock. Cancelling during the free trial means you are not charged.
